ELLO, I’m Rachel, a UX/UI designer that specializes in artful creations that pulls the user in— and keeps them around.
I have an extensive, professional background in fine art photography, graphic design and digital art. My photography work includes many published pieces in literary and media outlets. I’ve worked in many team scenarios including small, grassroots groups and big corporations. My experience as a photographer and artist makes me a better designer with a unique perspective. I’ve switched gears from photography to UX/UI to better use my problem solving skills and desire to grow professionally in a growing industry.
I love to spend my free time painting, sewing, cooking, baking...if it’s creative I do it! I also teach fine art to 60 students, ages 7-16 on a weekly basis. I live in the greater Denver area but I am open to metropolitan relocation, as well as remote work through 2023. I love to talk shows and movies but my favorites are always light hearted comedies like 30 Rock, Community, and yes, The Office. Fun fact, the number one time I watch my shows are when doing the dishes or folding launder, otherwise, it’s books for me!
