Seattle Health

The goal? Quick access to necessary user interactions. The focus? Simple UI, minimal cognitive overload and accessible flows.

*This project is in the current stages of design and more will be added over time.

Home Page

I was important to me to make the home page inviting but simple. Stakeholders need users to immediately have access to the most commonly used features; appointments, bill payment, care providers, and insurance information.

Red Routes

1) User needs to schedule an appointment

The most imperative online actions for Seattle health were to allow users to schedule appointments online, saving their call canter agents time, and bill payment. I designed the user flows before creating wireframes.

2) User needs to pay their bill

Based on research, 78% of consumers prefer to pay their bills online or on their mobile phone. Seattle health needs to allow users to pay their bills online and wanted this to be easily accessible from the home page of their website. They also want to increase mobile bill payments.

3) User needs to verify that their insurance is accepted at Seattle Health

Again, to minimize calls to the agents, my stakeholders requested a quick way to have users confirm their insurance online before calling in. While this is a simple flow, it’s still an essential task.

1) Schedule an Appointment

Play video to view the whole flow. Please be aware that viewing these on mobile may be a less ideal experience.
